whenever I watch Stefon sketches, I inevitably end up laughing so hardthat I mimic his hands-over-the-nose-and-mouth thing.
Dear Saturday Night Live,
Please let Chris Colfer host SNL.
And please let him play Stefon’s little brother.
Love, Caitlin

I love putting candy canes on my Christmas tree.
It’s like having a snack dispenser in my living room.
got out ornaments to decorate the teeny Christmas tree
TOTALLY FORGOT I BOUGHT LETTERS THAT SPELL OUT “GLEE.”
I just worked two weeks straight.
So after today’s shift I got super fancy food from the place by the bridal shop, took it home, and devoured 90% of it while wearing sweatpants and catching up on all shows I missed. And also there was booze (fancy Woodchuck, if you must know).
And there is still strawberry cake to be indulged in. Because seriously…I am exhausted.
Do you like/ hate/ have any tattoos? If so, what are they and what do they mean? If not, would you ever get one?
I do enjoy a classy, well-done, meaningful tattoo! I’m not entirely sold on full-body artwork- it’s a huge commitment, and you have to be the right kind of person for it- but when it’s done well I think it’s beautiful. One of my favorite fashion bloggers has a lot of tattoos that flow nicely and mean a lot and I think it’s absolutely beautiful; on the other hand, my sister-in-law is barely twenty and has seven random, poorly done tattoos that she got just for poops and giggles and I don’t think those, erm…are really that great.
As for me, personally, I’m not much of a body-mod person (I don’t even wear earrings on my single-pierced ears more than two or three times a year…) but I’ve always thought that if I reached my goal weight (or at least an ideal weight) that I’d like to get little bluebirds tattooed on my shoulderblades.
Out of curiosity, what do you think cupcake batter with Red Bull in itwould taste like?
Like sunshine and rainbows and unicorn farts, I surmise.
there are no Christmas treats in my house.
bitch gimme the candy canes and no one gets hurt
Cute things my first graders say
(during the school day)
First Grade Boy: MISS CAITLIN. I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU IN AFTERCARE. YOU NEED TO REMIND ME.
Me: Okay, I’ll remind you.
(during aftercare)
First Grade Boy: Miss Caitlin, I have to whisper something in your ear.
Me: Okay, tell me.
First Grade Boy: Miss Caitlin, guess what? My mommy and daddy are Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Me: Oh my goodness!
First Grade Boy: What do you want for Christmas? I’ll tell them so they can give it to you.
Do you dislike Ginny in the books too or just the movies? Because in myopinion she’s much better in the books.
She is better in the books, but she’s still not all that unique and exciting to me. She’s a very generic heroine type- strong and smart, but she doesn’t really stand well on her own.
The movies, though…Ginny is as exciting as wallpaper paste…
