Monthly Archives: January 2015

Oh, hat. You’ve seen me through some interesting times. Like when I got screamed at during Frozen fireworks. And when I got screamed at during Block Party Bash. And when I projectile bled during High School Musical 3. But now it’s time for us to part, and I’m fine with that. #movethathat2k15 #byefelicia (at Sorcerer’s Hat)

I laugh every time I think of these. (at The Great Movie Ride)

It only took me six months to put it on, but I finally have my one year pin on my nametag! (As modeled by Captain Honeybunch.) #disneycastmember #disneycm #unicornsilovethem (at The Dollhouse)
one of my favorite coworkers collected a bunch of her favorite guest moments over the holiday weeks and I got her permission to post these. And thank goodness, because they’re hilarious and I want to share them.
80 year old woman: “Oh, I’m so sorry I’m late, I was shaking my thang over at the dance party.”
—–
10 year old boy: “I think I’ll go to the dark side because I kind of want to kill my little brother.”
his extremely confused little brother: “Wait.. What?”
—–
very responsible mother: “Here’s my stroller, you’ll leave it at the exit of the ride?”
coworker: “Yes, but ma’am I need you to please take your child from the stroller.”
very responsible mother: “Oh no it’s ok, I trust you, we’ll be back after the ride.”
—–
12 year old girl in the front row: “Ohh, so Tarzan had abs. See mom, that’s why he’s my favorite.”
—–
10 year old boy: “Yeah, I didn’t want to go on this ride because I wanted to have some time away from my siblings”
—–
7 year old boy (as he ran straight into the line when we’d been open for 15 minutes): “The Great Movie Ride!! I love this ride!!”
—–
18 year old girl :“Wait.. Who is Dick Van Dyke? I’ve never even heard of him, he can’t be that famous.”
25 38 random one of your choice :)
25: My idea of a perfect date
Hm…I haven’t been on a lot of dates (the ex wasn’t much of a romantic). Hm…I’d say…going out and doing something fun, like going on a laid back trip to Magic Kingdom or Epcot or going minigolfing or going to a museum, and then going to dinner. And then maybe just going on a walk for a while.
38: My childhood career choice
Ballerina princess. Then I wanted to raise puppies. Then I wanted to be a ballerina again, then an actress. Now…I don’t know what on earth I want to do.
18: Most traumatic experience
Getting a spider thrown in my mouth when I was fifteen AHHHHHH.
I was tagged by muse-ical-macchiato!!
What does your 2015 calendar (not your schedule, your actual, physical calendar) look like?
It’s a Disney princess one from my friend! I have Aurora for my birth month.
Settlers of Catan or Monopoly?
Monopoly, especially if it’s the Disney parks version.
Do you have a favourite pen/pencil that you like to use? Why?
I always use Sharpie pens, partially because I just like the feel of them and partially because I’m not allowed to use ballpoint pens anymore.
Do you wear glasses/contacts?
Both, but in the past year I’ve mostly worn my hideous glasses.
What’s the last anime/TV show you watched?
I’m currently rewatching 30 Rock for the fourth time.
Is there a weird thing you collect for basically no reason at all – it just sort of happened?
I never planned on collecting the Disney animator dolls, but so far I have Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Merida, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. How did that happen?
Oh and for the meme: D, H, W.
D: If you had the choice of going without writing forever or going without dinner forever, which one would you choose?
Oh gosh. No. You don’t understand. I love dinner. I love dinner so much. It’s the best meal of the day. But…I wouldn’t be able to function if I couldn’t write. And I could function without dinner. So…dinner. But I’d probably have to start eating mashed potatoes for breakfast.
H: How long have you been writing?
I’d say since I was about sevenish? I used to make up very elaborate setups when I played with my toys, and I remember when it got to the point that I started writing them down. My first story that I clearly remember was about a girl named Christina who was in a wheelchair and these two brothers named Michael and Matthew were in love with her…but I spent more time describing Christina’s clothes than writing an actual story. I just really loved the clothing descriptions in my American Girl catalogs, okay?
W: What’s your biggest pet peeve in writing?
In my own writing? Repetition. I don’t like using the same phrases over and over again, or starting sentences with the same word.
In other people’s writing- beyond the normal grammar, spelling, etc.- I hate it when there’s no depth of character or character integrity. You can give me the coolest plot ever but if I don’t give a shit about your characters then I’m not going to give a shit about the plot.
