yes hi hello stopping by to say I am still alive but barely

holidays at Disney are no joke

working six days a week. many of the hours. much tired. wow.

Things I have experienced in the past few weeks:

-got pushed right in the firearm by a small child

-emergency stopped my vehicle during three different shows because adults think it’s cool to stand up and lean over the side to take pictures

-parking for two weeks at the motherfucking ESPN complex and taking the bus to the park is a thing. oh, and none of the morons working the parking lot work for Disney so it’s a free for all. (seriously, they forgot to leave a lane for cars to exit)

-the park opens at 8 every day, except for the one day it opened at 7

-a lady thought Indiana Jones was the Ten Commandments

-a pigeon got stuck inside the queue and couldn’t get out so it just sat there pooping

-i passed out in the tree during candlelight and had to awkwardly get off the stage

-i then found out the next day I have the flu and that’s why I fainted

-lost my voice completely and had to squawk and cough through my shows

-a guest had a temper tantrum because they were 45 minutes early for their fastpass BUT THEY KNEW IT WAS AS EIGHT BECAUSE THEY WENT TO THE OSBORNE LIGHTS FIRST (no I don’t understand that logic either)

-and a guy got arrested for punching a stormtrooper god bless and merry christmas

in honor of Star Tours’s 25th anniversary, I shall now share my favorite Star Tours story.

It’s a classic.

So the gate agent was checking the cabin and whatnot, “pull on the yellow strap,” all that jazz, and a lady had her backpack on, and the gate agent was like “ma’am, your bag has to go under your seat.”

And the woman looked confused and horrified, and said “baby go under seat?”

And lo and behold, she take the backpack off and turns it around…

AND THERE IS A BABY.

Baby did not go under seat. Baby and mother were hastily escorted out for a rider swap.

But now it is a custom amongst us spaceport agents to yell “baby under seat?” at each other. It’s like our traditional greeting. To which the proper reply is “Ehhh, together, family!”

Reblogging because it’s our 26th anniversary, and also because I think the new movie is coming out? Maybe. I might have seen something about a new Star Wars.

So this week my family is here visiting. (I’m working for part of it, and also singing in Candlelight…with America Ferrera, so I’m SUPER EXCITED.) And then I’m working seven straight days in a row, the 18th through the 24th. On Christmas Day I’m off but singing in Candlelight Processional. And then I’m working from the 26th through the 30th.

So basically I can sleep when it’s 2016.

I just have SO MUCH STUFF to do!! I haven’t cleaned my apartment or decorated for Christmas or baked cookies. And I really want to write that Worst Snoggletog Ever fic that @avannak and I were talking about (maybe I can write between sets in gangster??) I haven’t watched a single Christmas movie either.

Or I might spontaneously combust. Who knows.

Last night was just so fantastic. I got to run gangster shows with some awesome people, perform for several people that I really respect and admire, ride the new Star Tours scene (while in gangster costume!), have a one of a kind experience on the ride path with friends, and got to see the service celebration fireworks. Sure, I’m super tired today, but it’s nights like these that remind me why I love my job so much. #thelittlestmugsi #astheanubisdoorturns (at The Great Movie Ride)
